Just Be...Inspired - Kate Richardson

Interview Just Be...Inspired YouTube

Kate Richardson is a successful Canberra dancer and business woman. She owns and runs Subsdance dance studio, the Glamourosas samba dance team, and the Entertainment Hub. On the surface, Kate appear to be living what many people would describe as the perfect life – she has a successful business, good looks, and a loving, supportive husband. But things aren’t always how they seem, and Kate’s story is a reminder to us all that we mustn’t jump to conclusions based on appearances. Behind her performer’s smile, Kate is battling anxiety. In this episode of ‘Just Be…Inspired’, she opens up to us about how her anxiety has affected her life, her work and her confidence. Kate also talks about how the most important part of her being able to manage and live with her anxiety is her incredible support network, especially her husband, her family and her best friend, Kirstie McMillan. Kate’s story is a lesson to us all to remember that we can’t judge anyone based on their looks or their perceived life, and that we should always remember to be kind, because we can’t know what battles someone may be fighting.
